IT Technicians

Work basis: Dispatch-based, onsite deployment across multiple environment types

Job Purpose

The IT Technician will provide frontline onsite technical support, diagnosing and resolving IT incidents, supporting hardware and network infrastructure, and acting as "hands-and-eyes" for remote engineering and support teams across a variety of client sites.


Responsibilities

  • Perform Onsite IT incident diagnostics & Troubleshooting.
  • Provide onsite L1 support for remote teams during remote-led interventions.
  • Carryout hardware Installation, maintenance & replacement.
  • Deliver Desktop, Laptop, printer and other peripheral support.
  • Troubleshoot Network & connectivity issues.
  • Handle IT Equipment deployment and configuration.
  • IT Support within airport, cargo, passanger, Engineering, campus and  office environments.
  • Respond to Dispatch-based onsite interventions as required, including travels between client sites.
  • Any other technical task assigned by supervisor.

Must Have

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in similar role.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of desktop, hardware, operating systems and network fundamentals
  • Ability to work independently onsite and follow remote technical guidance
  • Good communication skills and a professional, customer-facing manner
  • Willingness to travel to different site types (airport, cargo, campus, office, etc.) as dispatched.
  • Valid means of identification/clearance for restricted-access environments where applicable

Nice to have

  • Comptia A+, N+, FOA or relevant globally recognized certification advantageous
